Job Title: Senior Solar Project Development Manager
Location: Near Hannover, Germany

Position Overview:
As the Senior Solar Project Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the end-to-end development of large-scale solar projects. From permitting, design, and delivery, you will be responsible for driving projects from inception to construction-ready status. Your leadership and expertise will be crucial as we continue to grow our portfolio of renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of solar project development, from initial site selection through to securing permits and approvals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, legal, and finance to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Manage relationships with landowners, local authorities, and other key stakeholders to secure necessary permits and approvals.
• Identify opportunities for project optimization and provide strategic input to improve processes and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with local and national regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
• Report regularly on project progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior management.

Key Requirements:

• A proven track record of managing large-scale solar projects, preferably in Germany or Europe.
• Strong understanding of the German regulatory environment and permitting processes for renewable energy projects.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
